BASKETBALL – AL Hala will be fighting for their place in next season’s top-tier premier division in the Zain Bahrain Basketball League when they face off with Sitra, who will be looking for promotion from division two.
The pair will be locking horns in a three-game series starting on Friday, with the winners joining Muharraq, Manama, Al Ahli, Al Najma, and this season’s division two champions Al Ettihad in the higher category for 2026-27.
Ettihad are replacing Nuwaidrat, who have been relegated to the second division.
Friday’s contest will be followed by game two on Monday next week, while game three, if needed, will be held the following evening on Tuesday.
