Amid the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain and other Gulf countries, Bahraini families, community leaders, business figures, sports and cultural clubs, and civil society organisations have issued statements emphasising their support for the kingdom, national unity, and loyalty under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad.
Additional statements were issued by 1,000 Bahraini families, community leaders, business figures, sports and cultural clubs, and civil society organisations, bringing the total issued statements to 12,500.
The statements confirmed their unity around the national leadership under His Majesty and expressed confidence in the measures taken by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to confront the Iranian attacks.
They commended the Bahrain Defence Force and its personnel for their high readiness, competence, and vigilance in responding to assaults targeting civilian sites and private property, describing these attacks as serious violations of the principles of good neighbourliness and as a direct threat to regional peace and security.
The statements also commended the Interior Ministry and its personnel for their efforts in managing the consequences of the attacks, expressing pride in the dedication and professionalism of national personnel working across various sectors in the service of the kingdom.
They expressed great pride in Bahrain’s dedicated teams, who are leading the efforts with proficiency and a strong national spirit across multiple domains of work.
They reiterated that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty and with the support of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, will continue its firm approach in supporting peace, enhancing regional and international stability, and promoting the principles of good neighbourliness, mutual respect and coexistence among peoples and nations.
