A drone struck a residential building in one of Kuwait’s southern regions during the early morning hours on Thursday. The attack caused injuries to two individuals and resulted in material damage to the property.
Authorities confirmed that the injured individuals were taken for medical treatment and are currently receiving
the necessary care.
Kuwaiti air defense systems intercepted several hostile drones that breached the country’s northern airspace at dawn on Thursday, according to a statement issued by the official spokesperson of the Kuwait Ministry of Defense.
Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al‑Otaibi, the ministry’s official spokesperson, said the air defense units successfully
engaged and intercepted the aerial threats as they entered the country’s airspace.
