Expat couple jailed after premature baby dies without medical care
INSTAGRAM
Being a Bahraini, I will say that we must respect all lives. The hospital she delivered should have not discharged the baby in the first place and humanity comes first. So, if an expat comes to government hospital, then please offer treatment first and and charge later. That’s how it happens all around the world! Secondly, extremely wrong on parents’ part to let the baby suffer .. they are to be blamed too! After all, it was their child!

This breaks my heart to read. And then we’ll read the news that a man who drove under the influence and tragically committed manslaughter gets just three years in jail.

I don’t understand why people who aren’t earning, and don’t have a visa, and are even expecting choosing to continue to stay in the Gulf?

We lost a soul today, we lost humanity.

They could have gone back to their country to seek care, but they didn’t. Nothing justifies this

Now what about the bereaved mother? Is it all about money, just shocking. I pray Inshallah she will get some sort of counselling. My thoughts are with the mother of the poor little baby.
@ameenabokhammas
This wasn’t about cruelty... it was fear and a stupid choice to hide from the system. It cost a baby’s life.
