BASKETBALL – Muharraq and Manama face off this evening in game four of their best-of-five championship series in the 2025-26 Zain Bahrain Basketball League.
Muharraq hold a narrow 2-1 lead in the finals and have an opportunity to close things out and retain their crown, but Manama will be battling hard to keep their match-up going and send the clash to a winner-take-all fifth game, which would be played on Monday next week.
Tonight’s fixture is scheduled for a 7pm tip-off and it will be held at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town.
Muharraq are aiming to complete an historic title treble this season, having already clinched the prestigious Khalifa Bin Salman Cup last month and the curtain-raising Bahrain Super Cup in November of last year – both single-game contests they had also won against Manama.
They are hoping to clinch the league championship for a fifth time.
Manama, on the other hand, are aiming to add to their record 25 league titles as the kingdom’s most successful basketball club.
