BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) sports associations director Hesham Albeloshi conducted field visits to the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) and the Bahrain Table Tennis Association (BTTA) at Isa Sports City in Riffa.
Albeloshi was accompanied by BOC sports association affairs head Fay Buallay.
The visits were part of the BOC’s ongoing efforts to monitor the status of national sports federations, review their operational progress, and assess their needs in light of current circumstances, with the aim of enhancing stability and supporting their continued development.
During the visits, Albeloshi conveyed the greetings of BOC secretary general Faris Al Kooheji and reaffirmed the BOC’s continued support for all federations.
At the BVA, Albeloshi met with BVA board member and competitions committee chairman Abdulraza Ashoori.
They reviewed the association’s operations, approved programmes, and ongoing efforts to implement their activities, as well as discussed a number of topics related to developing volleyball and strengthening its presence within Bahrain’s sporting landscape.
At the BTTA, Albeloshi met with BTTA president Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, BTTA vice-president Ali Al Madeh, and BTTA secretary general Sayed Jaffar Hadi.
They reviewed the federation’s key programmes and plans and listened to a detailed briefing on the challenges they currently face, as well as their technical and administrative needs.
Albeloshi emphasised the BOC’s commitment to supporting the federation and providing all possible means to address challenges, praising its role in advancing the sport and achieving positive results across various levels.
