A BahrainI businesswoman represented the kingdom at the annual Arab Entrepreneurs Board – Arab Women Forum, recently held in London, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers from across the region and world.
DMartin Consultancy chief executive officer Doris Martin took part in the forum as part of her ongoing roles as an advisory board member at the College of Business at the American University of Bahrain, Women in Tech–Global–Bahrain chapter director and former board member of the Bahrain Businesswomen’s Society.
Her participation reflected Bahrain’s growing presence in global entrepreneurship and women’s leadership platforms.

During the event, she engaged with international stakeholders and explored opportunities to further strengthen entrepreneurship development programmes between Bahrain and the UK.
Ms Martin highlighted the resilience of businesses in the Gulf region, noting that despite challenges, both citizens and expatriates continue to build and sustain enterprises.
She emphasised values such as resilience, tolerance, discipline, strength, and a strong appreciation for leadership and governance.
She described the forum as a meaningful platform for exchange, where she met women entrepreneurs, innovators, start-ups, investors, diplomats, and partners from the Gulf and around the world.
As part of her trip, she also visited the Bahrain Embassy in London, where she provided a briefing on the forum and its key outcomes.
