Alfa Laval has appointed Alban Hohmann Schauly as Vice President of the Energy Division for the Middle East, South & East Africa (MESEA) region, strengthening its regional leadership team as it seeks to expand in key energy markets.
In his new role, he will lead the division’s regional
strategy, focusing on accelerating growth, strengthening customer partnerships,
and advancing Alfa Laval’s contribution to more efficient and sustainable
energy solutions.
He joins Alfa Laval from Caterpillar, where he most recently
led the Data Center segment for Africa and the Middle East
. In that role, he was responsible for regional sales and
marketing strategies for power solutions serving the fast-growing data centre
industry.
His experience spans
business development, strategic growth leadership, and delivering industrial
energy solutions across international markets.
Prior to that, he held senior leadership positions at
Cummins in the Middle East and the United Kingdom, where he worked on
commercial expansion and market development initiatives.
He also began his career at Hewlett Packard in France as a
Product and Brand Manager.
With more than 16 years of experience across the energy and
digital infrastructure sectors, he brings expertise in market analysis,
customer segmentation, and partnership development. Alfa Laval said his
appointment will support its long-term growth ambitions in the MESEA region and
strengthen its position in the energy transition space.
