A Bahraini man in his fifties appeared before the High Criminal Court yesterday, charged with causing the death of an Asian pedestrian in a traffic accident.
The incident reportedly occurred on April 11 at around 5.30pm on a farm road, where the defendant is alleged to have failed to exercise due care and attention while driving.
According to case documents, the vehicle struck the expatriate, who sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The trial has been adjourned to June 15.
