The General Directorate of Port Security, in co-operation with the Coastguard and Masar Group, which specialises in maritime transport, conducted a maritime evacuation exercise at the King Fahad Causeway as part of efforts to enhance readiness and preparedness for emergencies.
The exercise aimed to test approved plans and procedures and strengthen co-ordination and co-operation among the participating entities, thereby contributing to a rapid and effective response to emergencies and the protection of lives and property. The exercise included implementing training scenarios in accordance with the approved plans.
