BAHRAIN’S private sector is a key partner in the nation’s development and prosperity, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has said.
He reiterated the government’s efforts to strengthen Bahrain’s competitiveness and secure national aspirations.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised the importance of strengthening co-operation and expanding opportunities in support of economic growth and sustainable development during a meeting with Bahrain Chamber chairman Nabeel Kanoo at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
Bahrain’s continued achievements are underpinned by the long-standing partnership and commitments between the public and private sectors, representing Team Bahrain, in advancing the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad, he said.
He also noted that greater co-operation between the public and private sectors is critical to advancing development efforts, capitalising on promising opportunities and building on the kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements.
The Chamber’s chairman expressed his appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s unwavering support for the private sector and efforts to strengthen its role in economic development.
He also expressed his appreciation for the government’s steadfast support and the measures undertaken in response to the hostile Iranian aggression against the kingdom.
Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
