Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh praised the efforts of BDF, National Guard and Interior Ministry personnel in confronting Iranian attacks, safeguarding Bahrain’s security and stability, protecting citizens and residents, and preserving national achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Mr Al Saleh condemned the Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain, GCC countries and Jordan as he took part in the opening of the Bahrain Media and Volunteering Forum, organised by the Bahrain Voluntary Work Society yesterday.
He emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to peace, good neighbourliness, coexistence, and dialogue, as well as its longstanding approach of promoting mutual respect and constructive relations among nations.
The chairman took part in signing a document expressing loyalty and support to His Majesty and attended a ceremony honouring frontline personnel in recognition of their efforts in responding to the Iranian attacks against Bahrain.
The chairman also toured a photography exhibition featuring historical images by artist Ibrahim Bado and commended the exhibition’s documentary and historical content.
Mr Al Saleh lauded the Bahrain Voluntary Work Society for its continued efforts in organising events, conferences, and activities that promote community awareness and encourage discussion of various issues. He also highlighted the importance of organising a forum focused on volunteering and media, particularly in light of developments in the media and journalism sectors.
The chairman noted that volunteering represents an important social value that reflects the principles of co-operation and solidarity within society.
