BOXING – The Bahrain Boxing Federation (BBF) announced yesterday the appointment of renowned combat sports figure Amer Abdallah as an official adviser to the BBF in a strategic step aimed at strengthening the sport and developing national talent.
Abdallah boasts a distinguished sporting and administrative career.
He is a former World Kickboxing Association light heavyweight champion and has achieved notable successes as a consultant, promoter, and business manager in the world of boxing.
He also has a clear impact on the development of the sport in the region through his supervision and work with major international legends and entities, most notably Mike Tyson, MF Pro Boxing, Lace Up Promotions, and the renowned US-based Kronk Gym.
Abdallah’s extensive experience and broad international network of relationships will help support the BBF’s ongoing efforts to advance Bahraini boxing and consolidate its presence on the international stage.
BBF president Rashid Feleyfel expressed his delight in having the opportunity to work with Abdallah and welcomed him to the BBF family.
Feleyfel added that Abdallah’s addition aligns with the BBF’s ambitious vision to develop boxing in the kingdom, and noted his confidence that Abdallah’s extensive international experience and long-standing connections will be a strong incentive to Bahrain.
