A three-year-old girl was killed on Sunday after a parked mini-bus rolled forward and struck her in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram.
The child, Rithuvedha, was on a family picnic and had travelled to a scenic spot in the vehicle.
The mini-bus had been parked on a sloping bridge while the family alighted to take in the views. Suddenly, the unmanned vehicle began rolling down the slope and ran over the toddler, causing critical injuries.
Rithuvedha was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her wounds.
