HORSERACING – A delegation from Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC), headed by members of REHC’s High Committee, visited the stable of British trainer William Haggas as well as Darley Stallions in Newmarket in the UK. Their visits were part of REHC’s participation in the July Festival at Newmarket Racecourse.
During their visit to Haggas’ stable, the delegation observed the horses’ morning training on the Warren Hill Gallops, toured the stable’s facilities, and learned about the stable’s approach to horse care and race preparation.
The delegation also met with the stable’s team to discuss opportunities to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise in equestrian sport and horseracing.
Meanwhile, their visit to Darley Stallions included a tour of the facilities, where they viewed a selection of world-class stallions and learned about the services and operations related to stallion care and breeding.
The visit also provided an opportunity to gain insight into best practices in stallion management, breeding programmes, and bloodstock development, while exchanging views on a number of topics of mutual interest related to equestrian sport and horseracing.
