Kuwait Airways has resumed direct daily flights to Damascus, Syria, from July 15, 2026, and expanded its summer 2026 network with the launch of a new twice-weekly service to Nice, France, operating on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
Acting Chief Executive Officer Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti
said the resumption of Damascus flights is aimed at meeting growing demand for
travel between Kuwait and Syria while offering greater connectivity for both
business and leisure travellers.
He added that the return of the Syrian capital reflects
Kuwait Airways’ commitment to expanding its network and strengthening Kuwait’s
position as a regional aviation hub.
Commenting on the launch of Nice, Al-Shatti said the French
Riviera destination has been introduced to strengthen the airline’s European
network and cater to rising demand for summer leisure travel.
He noted that Nice was selected following a comprehensive
assessment of market demand and travel trends and represents an attractive
addition to the airline’s portfolio of European destinations. -TradeArabia News Service
