The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) will conduct a joint military exercise, Bahrain Shield, from today until Thursday, with the participation of the GCC armed forces.
The exercise aims to strengthen military co-operation, facilitate the exchange of expertise and assess the effectiveness of joint operational systems.
The participation of the GCC armed forces reflects the BDF’s commitment to conducting joint exercises to enhance combat readiness, develop operational capabilities and strengthen planning for joint operations, according to a BDF statement.
It said the exercise will also provide opportunities to unify operational concepts among the participating forces and reinforce co-ordination to address shared challenges.
