HIS Majesty King Hamad’s visit to Youth City 2030 is an exceptional national moment that affirms that Bahraini youth enjoy the leadership’s trust, the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has said.
The energy, ideas and capabilities of Bahrain’s youngsters are a fundamental pillar of the kingdom’s present and future, he said.
His Majesty visited Youth City 2030 on Saturday and was briefed on its programmes and initiatives that are aimed at developing the skills of youth and enhancing their readiness to contribute to national development.
The King’s visit was also praised by Information Minister Dr Ramzan Al Nuaimi, Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi, senior government officials and representatives of clubs and societies.
Shaikh Nasser said that the visit was not merely to review programmes and initiatives but a direct message to every young man and woman that ambition is valued, that experience is the path to achievement, and that the prospects for success are open to those who possess the desire to learn, take the initiative and make an impact.
He noted that His Majesty’s meeting with the youth, listening to their experiences and learning about their projects and talents, will remain a lasting source of motivation on their journey.
Shaikh Nasser affirmed that the royal patronage of Youth City 2030 is an incentive to continue enhancing its experience and expanding its opportunities for young people, thereby strengthening its position as a national platform for fostering ambition and transforming it into achievement.
Youth City 2030 is an advanced laboratory for discovering, refining and empowering Bahraini talent, he said.
The next phase requires building on what has been achieved and further developing the experience, which helps young people leave Youth City with greater confidence in their abilities, deeper knowledge and a greater readiness to shoulder responsibility, make an impact and lead the way into the future, he pointed out.
