The Northern Municipal Council conducted an exploratory visit to Amana Healthcare Bahrain in Al Jasra as part of its commitment to strengthening communication with healthcare institutions and learning about the services and initiatives offered.
The delegation was headed by council chairman Dr Sayed Shubbar Al Wedaie, who was joined by members and staff.
They were received by Patient and Family Experience director and Geriatric and General Internal Medicine Consultant Dr Mahmoud Al Saeed, Government Relations and Corporate Affairs senior officer Fawaz Al Balushi and marketing manager Manal Al Sulaibikh.
The hospital’s representatives presented an overview of its key medical and specialist services, as well as the programmes and initiatives it offers to enhance the quality of healthcare and improve the patient experience.
The visit also provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on a number of issues of mutual interest and discuss ways of strengthening co-operation in support of community initiatives for Northern Governorate residents.
Both parties agreed to organise an awareness session as part of the ‘Hayakom’ programme and host a team from Amana Healthcare to deliver an introductory and educational presentation for residents of the governorate, with the aim of promoting health awareness.
