HIS Majesty King Hamad returned to Bahrain yesterday following a visit to Egypt.
During the visit, His Majesty held talks with Egypt President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, focusing on the distinguished relations between the two countries and the latest regional and international developments.
Upon arrival, His Majesty was welcomed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Following the visit, His Majesty sent a cable of thanks to President Al Sisi, expressing sincere appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation.
The King also expressed appreciation for the constructive talks and fruitful discussions held with the Egyptian President, which focused on regional and international issues of common concern.
His Majesty commended Egypt’s steadfast support for the security and stability of Bahrain and its commitment to continued co-ordination and consultation in support of regional peace and security.
The King extended best wishes to President Al Sisi and wished Egypt and its people further progress, stability and prosperity.
