BASKETBALL – Samheej, Al Hala, and Nuwaidrat were all victorious last night in their opening games of the 2026-27 Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA) Cup.
Samaheej outclassed Al Ahli 86-61 at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, where Al Hala also won 80-63 against Muharraq.
Nuwaidrat, meanwhile, edged past Sitra 92-88 at the BBA Arena in Um Al Hassam Sports Complex.
The BBA Cup is the first national competition for the kingdom’s 2026-27 basketball season.
