A 29-year-old man was arrested yesterday for committing several shop thefts, the Interior Ministry said.
The Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate launched an investigation following the series of robberies and arrested the suspect.
A number of stolen items, including cash, bank cards and mobile phones, were found in his possession.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
