MMA – Bahrain's mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Sabrinna de Sousa faced off with Brazilian Taila Santos ahead of their women’s flyweight bout in the Professional Fighters League (PFL) Tampa fight night, held in Florida, the US.
Both fighters officially made weight for their bout, with De Sousa coming in at 125.8lbs and Santos at 125.6lbs.
De Sousa and Santos were scheduled to feature on the evening’s stacked preliminary card.
De Sousa is the world’s first three-time women’s world champion under the International MMA Federation (IMMAF), and is returning to PFL action against Santos with an unbeaten professional record after six contests.
