His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has directed the Education Ministry to hold an induction day across public schools to brief parents and guardians on the new academic year.
HRH Prince Salman also directed the ministry to take all necessary preparations to ensure a learning environment that encourages students to excel.
He gave the directives when he chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
Government school students will return to classrooms on September 3, with the first term continuing until January 14.
