From the Gulf sands to deep space, the passion of Kuwaiti researcher Abdullah Al Harbi has turned from a mere hobby of stargazing into a scientific document embraced by key world space agencies.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) have featured 50 of Al Harbi's images across their official websites.
This accomplishment makes him the first Gulf person to have his shots showcased in NASA's "Astronomy Picture of the Day" series, and one of the most frequently featured Arab astrophotographers on the agency's platform.
Al Harbi is also the first Gulf individual to collaborate with the European Space Agency (ESA).
