TRIBUTES have been paid by senior officials and diplomats to one of Bahrain’s pioneering businessmen, Abdulaziz Jassim Kanoo, who died earlier this year.
A special event was held under the patronage of Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Al Mutawa at Gulf Hotel to remember the veteran businessman, who died on August 31.
Mr Kanoo was chairman of the YBA Kanoo Group, Saudi Arabia and a shareholder of the YBA Kanoo Group.
His Majesty King Hamad bestowed on him the Bahrain Medal of the First Order in 2007.
