MANAMA: Irish engineering consultancy ESB International marked 40 years of partnership with Bahrain last night at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence and Spa.
ESB chief executive Pat O’Doherty and managing director Ollie Brogan received Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza and Electricity and Water Authority CEO Shaikh Nawaf Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa at the celebration to commemorate the milestone.
Ireland’s Ambassador to GCC Tony Cotter, government officials and business leaders attended.
Specialising in electricity sector projects, ESB International began operations in Bahrain in the late 1970s as a consultant to the then Bahrain State Electricity Directorate.
