MANAMA: Global Industrial Resources (GIR) will showcase their exclusive range of aluminium products at Gulf Industry Fair (GIF) 2017 starting tomorrow.
“We would like to take this opportunity to show our appreciation for Gulf Industry Fair’s efforts in promoting Bahrain’s industrial capabilities on a global scale. Support from a platform such as GIF helps GIR promote our status as a regional supplier of aluminium related products,” said GIR vice-chairman and managing director Ali Najjar.
GIR supplies international product brands from the aluminium, metal and petrochemical industries such as cathode collector bars, steel bars, round bars, anode, refractories, material handling equipment, spares, foundry chemicals and special lubricants.
“We will be using GIF’s platform to promote our exclusive range of aluminium-based products developed for aluminium potlines, aluminium casthouse and carbon plants,” added Mr Najjar.
The GIR Group leads three major subsidiary companies who have achieved the highest of reputations in their respective product sectors.
Bahrain Industrial Filters (BIF) specialises in manufacturing dry and liquid filtration applications; GIR Lining specialises in providing dedicated services for Aluminium Remelt/Holding Furnaces and the Parker Store, is a well-known one-stop-shop showroom for fitting hydraulic and pneumatic products.

The Northern Gulf’s leading annual industrial expo is a three-day event being held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The expo is sponsored by Alba and Bapco, in association with Noga. Majaal and Naffco will be supporting the Industrial Facilities and Fire and Safety sectors respectively.
Supporting organisations for GIF 2017 include AHK Saudi Arabia, India’s PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Saudi Arabian Liaison for Economic Affairs, the Saudi British Economic Offset Programme and Bahrain Industrial Association.
