THE first deputy chairman of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has directed Alex Soto of the Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA) Team to represent Bahrain at the Titan FC 35 Championship to be held on September 19 in Washington.
Soto has won seven and drawn three fights so far in his career.
Shaikh Khalid said it is part of Bahrain’s plans to take part in various International MMA events so that the kingdom can constantly appear on the international map.
Shaikh Khalid praised the support of chairman of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his constant support and encouragement for the development in this sport in Bahrain.
Shaikh Khalid also hailed the achievement of KHK MMA professional team member Eldar Eldarov’s performance at the recent Gladiator Championship in Kuwait.
Eldarov won the main fight defeating American opponent Tanner Saracen in the 77kg category.
