The Bahrain Indian School conducted an evacuation drill in co-ordination with the Interior Ministry. Civil Defence officials Mohammad Jahangir and Mehran Fazal conducted a workshop to assess the school’s emergency plan, while the alarms and fire-fighting equipment were also checked for effectiveness along with a review of standard emergency evacuation procedures.
Real life situations were discussed in which the officials highlighted mistakes and methods to avoid in case of an emergency. To finalise the learning process a mock drill was conducted as well as other implementation procedures.
