A 20-year-old man has died in Egypt following a tragic accident that has served as a stark warning to others. The victim’s 14-year-old sister accidentally stabbed him in the chest while the pair were joking around in their kitchen on Sunday night.
The incident occurred as the siblings were playing together; the girl accidentally struck the right side of her brother's chest with a knife. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
While initial investigations have determined the stabbing was accidental, the girl remains in custody pending further enquiries.
