Manama: Riffa Views has signed a contract with Cyprus Cybarco Tabet (CCT) to complete the construction of 73 villas at Riffa Views Parks District.
This engagement brings CCT on board as the third of three main contractors to build 212 villas at this district, with the aim of achieving completion of the project within the next two years.
Construction works are scheduled to start on December 1, and to continue for a period of 24 months.
“Riffa Views has achieved outstanding progress towards completing the project, with the timely engagement of contractors to complete the remaining units,” Riffa Views managing director Yasser Abdulrahman Al Raee said.
He also lauded the great efforts expended by all stakeholders.
“We are pleased to commence the final phase of construction of the project units,” Mr Al Raee said.
He also pointed out that Riffa Views had previously announced the signing of contracts with Poulliades Construction Company to construct 61 villas, and Projects Construction Company to build 78 villas.
CCT will be responsible for building the remaining 73 villas.
CCT executive director Ashraf Iskandar Obeid thanked the National Bank of Bahrain and Riffa Views for their invaluable efforts and assistance to conclude this agreement, adding “we look forward with great hope and confidence to complete project works for timely sale as agreed, to the mutual satisfaction of all stakeholders”.
The Parks District is comprised of two and three-bedroom townhouses and three to six-bedroom Middle Eastern style villas, on land plots with areas ranging between 500 sqm and 3,500sqm, with sales scheduled to start soon.
Riffa Views is the first gated community in Bahrain built around a golf course. It includes 1,056 villas, the Royal Golf Club, the Royal Country Club, Riffa Views International School, JC’s Tennis Academy, football academy, mosques and recreational and support facilities.
