Manama: The Gulf Hotels Group, hospitality provider and owners of Gulf Hotel Bahrain, participated at the region’s largest travel trade and consumer event, Arabian Travel Market in Dubai.
During the event, Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, chief executive officer of Bahrain Tourism Exhibition Authority, visited the Gulf Hotels Group stand.
He met with Gulf Hotels Group chief executive officer Mr. Garfield Jones and the General Managers of some of the Group's properties, Mr. Fares Yactine (Gulf Hotel), Mr. Volker Mandlowsky (The K Hotel) and Mr. Hussain Al Samaheji (Asdal Gulf Inn).
Shaikh Khalid congratulated the group on the stand, which promoted their hotels and upcoming projects, including the construction of the Gulf Executive Residence in Juffair, the new Gulf Court Hotel Business Bay, Dubai and the refurbishment of the Gulf Convention Centre.
Mr Jones briefed Shaikh Khalid that it was the group's 9th year of exhibiting at the event. He also congratulated Shaikh Khalid on the Bahrain stand at the event, which was significantly larger than previous years and reflected the drive to enhance tourism in the Kingdom.
