A total of 189 graduates from Modern Knowledge School were honoured during a ceremony at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa and Spa yesterday under the patronage of Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi. Senior official, parents and guests attended.
The celebration marks the 16th American Diploma and 15th International Baccalaureate (IB) batches, the largest in the school’s history.
School’s chairwoman Parveen Kazerooni announced that an independent building for intermediate level will be opened. Each level, from kindergarten, will have its own building, she said.

Project outlined
Muharraq Governor Salman bin Hindi outlined details of Firjan Al Muharraq (Muharraq districts) restoration project as he yesterday received Muharraq residents at his weekly majlis.
The multi-stage mega-project, part of a Royal donation, also includes details allowing citizens who left Muharraq to return to their governorate, he said.
It will also ban construction of houses for expatriate bachelor labourers in the districts to be restored, he added.
The citizens extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for his directives to speed up establishment of vital projects in the governorate.
