Cairo – Egyptian President Abdelfattah al-Sisi has today designated Housing minister Dr. Mustapha Madbouli to form the new cabinet.
Dr. Madbouli served as Acting Premier during the absence of former Prime Minister Sharif Ismail for treatment abroad. Sharif submitted the resignation of the Egyptian Cabinet to President al-Sisi a few days ago.
The new-designated Prime Minister Dr. Madbouli was appointed as Housing Minister in the Government of Ibrahim Mehleb in 2014. He held the same portfolio under Sharif’s government.
