The government will hold an urgent meeting with legislators on the new social welfare scheme next Wednesday (July 4).
Shura Council first vice-chairman Jamal Fakhro, who heads the technical assessment committee, told the GDN today that the government was willing to meet legislators halfway on disputed issues.
Talks stalled yesterday following a number of disagreements.
