Riyadh: Arabic.CNN.com has officially apologised for levelling allegations accusing Saudi Arabia of being behind the bombings which hit residential areas in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The website said in a tweet on its Twitter account: "CNN ARABIC.Com wishes to affirm that it does not, in any, way condone the accusation which was made by Syria against Saudi Arabia and we apologise for any misunderstanding.”
