Doha: It was a delight for people who witnessed the fireworks during the late hours of National Day on December 18. Thousands of citizens and residents were out on the iconic Corniche to celebrate Qatar’s National Day.

The celebrations on Friday included a parade of Qatari soldiers and military hardware along the capital city's corniche, while fighter jets and helicopters flew overhead and a flotilla of boats sailed past and magnificent fireworks in the evening.
