A MOTHER-OF-FIVE who was caught dancing erotically on the streets has been jailed for two weeks. Video footage of the Saudi woman, 40, went viral on social media last month and showed her wearing a niqab as she danced from the sunroof of a Lexus in Juffair.
She was found guilty of public indecency by the Lower Criminal Court yesterday, which sentenced her to two weeks in jail. However, the driver of the car, also a Saudi, was acquitted of the same charge.
“The sunroof was already open when the woman stood up and danced, which is why the court has acquitted the driver of the charge,” read the court ruling.
“The woman has been jailed for two weeks for public indecency and will be deported after completing her sentence.”
