Muscat: Oman’s national carrier will continue cancelling scheduled flights till the end of this month due to the suspension of the Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
Oman Air has announced that the cancellations would affect flights from May 1–31, adding that passengers would be rebooked on alternative or next available flights to their destinations.
The national airline earlier cancelled flights for the period between March 28 to April 30, the third in the series of flight cancellations announced since the grounding of the US-manufactured aircraft.
The latest decision will affect flights to Colombo, Kuwait, Bahrain, Riyadh, Salalah, Nairobi, Tehran, Hyderabad, Mashhad, Karachi, Goa, Mumbai, Dammam, Amman, Kuala Lumpur, Milan, Dubai and Jakarta, according to Oman Observer.
