Riyadh: The overall remittances sent home by expatriates dropped by 9 per cent in April to SR10.72 billion, down from SR11.72 billion in April 2018.
According to the latest statistics released by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), remittances dropped by SR998 million last April, compared to March 2019 when expatriates sent home SR11.26 billion, Akbhar24 reports.
Saudi nationals’ remittances abroad rose by 2.4% last April to stand at SR5 billion up from SR4.94 billion.
