MANAMA: KAR Group will be promoting their strength across the construction, interiors and property sectors at the gulfBID, gulfInteriors and Gulf Property Show 2015, billed as the biggest integrated business-to-business showcase for the three sectors in the Northern Gulf.
Being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, the three-day event opens tomorrow.
Leading the KAR Group’s presence at the exhibition will be Cebarco, a leading building and civil engineering company, as part of gulfBID, the specialist regional construction and building material exhibition for the most influential architectural, engineering and design communities of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar.
The KAR Group’s stand at the exhibition will feature some of the group units including Cebarco, KAR Properties, KAR Tec, HKTC and Marmara Trading.
Cebarco was established in 1992 and is the focal business point of KAR Group, owned by business magnate and construction tycoon, Dr Khalid Mohammed Abdulrahim who is also the company’s current chairman.
The company has grown by delivering on projects undertaken to the highest standards.
Cebarco is known for constructing Bahrain’s biggest landmarks, most notably the Bahrain International Circuit, City Centre Bahrain, the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Library and Conference Centre, Citibank headquarters, King Hamad Highway and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This success has been carried forward with the much applauded construction of the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 Circuit.

In Marmara Trading, KAR Group have focused on supply of quality tiles, sanitary ware, bathroom furniture and accessories to meet all budgets. Marmara has expanded its range to include products from Italy, Spain, Malaysia and India.
Today it is the sole distributor for all ideal standard products including sanitary ware, faucets, fittings, showers and furniture; as well as bathroom accessories from Royo, Pomdor, Mediclinics, and German manufacturer Emco to name but a few.
“The participation of the KAR Group and Cebarco in particular highlights the quality of construction capability hailing from Bahrain,” the show’s organiser Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said.
