Kuwait: The health of Bahraini actress and TV presenter Sabrin Bourshaid has reportedly deteriorated, following which she was transferred to the intensive care unit.
She was diagnosed with Lymphoma, a type of cancer that starts in the white blood cells or lymphocytes, reported Al Qabas.
“Sabrin suffered a serious health setback as she was undergoing chemotherapy at the hospital”, said Bahraini actress Haifa Hussein, posting a picture of Sabrin on her Instagram account.
Burshaid works in Kuwait as a presenter on ATV channel and has been cast in a TV series that will be aired during Ramadan.
The Kuwaiti-based actress, suffering from three tumours in the head, was transferred urgently for treatment to an overseas hospital.
