Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was in Dubai recently for the launch of a furnishing store. The diva, who was looking every inch gorgeous in her Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla dress, opened up about her apartment in Dubai's Burj Khalifa.
"I used to have a home in Dubai but we just very recently sold it," Shilpa revealed in an interview with Khaleej Times. "The place was very small; it's lovely to have a two-bedroom place when you don't have a child. But when you have a child, you want a bigger space", she added.
The actress also said that home furnishing is a passion for her. "I am very passionate about making a home and anyone who comes to my home can see that. A home is incomplete without love and also furniture," she said.
Shilpa took a trip down memory lane as she recalled setting up her own home after she got married. "When I got married and did up my home, I shopped all over the world. I had pieces coming from different parts of the world, so it was worth it. Making a home is a labour of love."
The Bollywood star also expressed excitement at the prospect of shopping at the Dubai Shopping Festival and sounded all mysterious about what she is planning to buy. "I am excited for the Dubai Shopping Festival and I have come here with an agenda. I am not telling anyone where and what I am going to buy," Shilpa concluded.
