Bahrain Olympic team is gearing up for its crucial match against Thailand in the opening of the Asian U23 Football Championship.
The match will be held tomorrow at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, as part of the Group A fixtures which also includes Iraq and Australia.
Led by coach Samir Chammam and the technical team, the national squad will complete its training today ahead of the crucial clash against the host country.
The team has been conducting daily evening sessions, with each lasting one hour and a half, ever since it arrived in Bangkok to prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics qualifiers.
A co-ordination technical meeting will be held today for Group ‘A’ teams on the eve of the championship kick-off.
Bahrain’s technical and administrative staff as well as the media co-ordinator and the medical team will attend the meeting.
