DILMUN Club ‘A’ posted a resounding 22-12 victory over British Club ‘A’ last night in the Bahrain Netball League.
Centre Charlotte Collinson was named player-of-the-match for the winners while wing attack Kim Chadwick was her team’s best player.
Also big winners yesterday were Bahrain Rugby Football Club (BRFC) ‘A’, who beat sister squad BRFC Flames 26-10.
Centre Jo Mannings and goal attack Maisie Brandreth were named top players from each side.
British Club ‘C’ scored a convincing 29-6 win over British Club ‘B’. The winners were led by goal shooter Elen Griffith while centre Grace Afante led her team in the setback.
Top Shots Slammers were 26-15 victors against Sri Lanka Secure Services. Wing attack Verity Ball was the player-of-the match for Top Shots while goal attack Sara Rahim shone for Sri Lanka.
Top Shots Shooters were narrow 14-12 winners over British Club ‘D’. Goal attack Katie Baker and centre Debbie Cochrane were the best players for their teams.
In the last game of the night, Dilmun Club Youth beat BRFC Reds 19-11. Goal shooter Asma Khan was the top performer for the victors while goal attack Alice Brandreth was her side’s best player.
