MANAMA: Alubaf has been awarded the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification.
“It is with great pride that we announce our successful achievement of ISO 27001:2013 certification,” Alubaf Arab International Bank chief executive Hasan Abulhasan said.
“Acquiring this certification is a major milestone for Alubaf.
“We truly hope that our commitment to information security is apparent in everything we do.”
ISO 27001:2013 is an international standard published by the International Standardisation Organisation (ISO), and it is the best practice framework for an information security management system.
Alubaf is now one of the few banks in the region to hold ISO 27001:2013 certification. This allows the bank to reassure its stakeholders of its commitment to secure management of information and adherence to international standards.
The certificate was awarded to Mr Abulhasan by officials from Bureau Veritas, a globally recognised company in certification services, during a ceremony held at the Alubaf Bank premises in Seef district.
