The achievement reflects a 45% growth in new car sales despite the negative effects of the pandemic, which confirms the widespread and increasing confidence of Volkswagen customers in Saudi Arabia as well as growing consumer confidence within the kingdom after the pandemic.
Samaco Automotive indicated that the increase in sales this year is mainly due to the increase in demand for the three latest models introduced by Volkswagen in the first half of 2021. The T-Roc is a valuable addition to the new car models, accounting for 20% of total sales during the H1 period. The arrival of the new Teramont also heavily contributed to sales figures and is now a favorite for Saudi families, who appreciate its spacious interior with 7 seats and advanced technology.
