More cameras needed to check reckless drivers
WHILE most of the highways across the kingdom have cameras installed at several places to keep speeding vehicles in check, many internal main roads (like Saar Avenue) do not have any cameras.
Several drivers on the road speed way beyond the allowed limits, and often jump red signals, with impunity.
The reckless driving by these drivers is a sure-shot invitation for accidents on the road, which may adversely affect other drivers and pedestrians.
Concerned authorities are requested to install cameras at all signals so that such unsafe drivers are kept in check, and when found violating, are legally penalised, ensuring general road safety for one and all.
