Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani has inaugurated Bahrain’s Consulate General in Dubai, in the presence of UAE Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Almarar.
The inauguration was on the occasion of the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Dubai to attend the National Day activities at the Bahrain pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020.
The opening ceremony was attended by Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Consul General in Dubai Saud Hassan Al Nusuf and a number of ambassadors and consuls of friendly countries accredited to the UAE.
Dr Al Zayani unveiled the commemorative plaque, then toured the consulate, and was briefed on the facilities included in the Consulate General.
He expressed great pride and appreciation for the depth of the close relations the UAE.
